Singer Chrisette Michelle will join the party ushering in Trump’s presidency, according to sources close to the festivities.
We’re told that plan fell apart when at least two of those three singers declined the offer.
According to our sources, Michelle agreed to sing for the Prez so long as she could perform an R&B set.
Michelle, a 2009 Grammy winner from Long Island who recently parted with Motown records and formed her own label, will perform in Sayreville, N.J., on Thursday before traveling to D.C. for the controversial party to usher out the Obama administration and ring in the Trump era.
Reps for Michelle could not immediately be reached for comment.
