Lil’ Kim and Biggie Smalls come as a package when it comes to hip-hop history, not to mention when we’re talking about the dramas in their famous relationship. But now, 22 years after his murder, the legendary rapper was celebrated at the long-awaited co-naming of a street for the slain Brooklyn-native musician. His famous ex was in attendance and also gave a few touching words on Monday. The Lady Marmalade rapper said: ‘I always knew this day was gonna come. ‘I used to dream about a street being named after Biggie, because it was only right.’ Officials dubbed the corner of St. James Place and Fulton Street, Christopher Wallace Way following a controversial, years-long push by local activists to get the designation.
